It's finally here! The adult version of the T-Rex Cardigan, featuring the same dinosaur pattern as the kids' cardigan but in a chunkier knit to keep you extra cozy. The luxurious cashmere cardigan is an over-sized, boxy silhouette, which will suit all shapes. Featuring chunky rib trims, biodegradable Corozo buttons and, most importantly, pockets.

Size and fit - One Size
Body length - 53cm
Chest - 61cm

Model is a size S and 5ft4 (165cm).

This is the first garment we've outsourced. The only reason we've done this is so we can get a chunkier knit (the knit machine that our founder, Grace Jones, uses is too fine a gauge, and seeing as it was gift from her grandmother she's rightly quite attached to it). 

Nevertheless, at Suermondt we firmly believe that clothes should be made with moral fibre, and the T-Rex Cardigan is no exception.

We've spent the last six months working closely with Novetex Textiles using their incredible Billie System to create a stunning yarn that's 55% post-consumer recycled cashmere (that means it's made from cashmere intercepted on its way to landfill) and 45% BCI cotton (the Better Cotton Initiative is a non-profit that promotes better standards of cotton farming and practices).

The Billie System also doesn't use water or create chemical waste. It's fantastic technology and worth a few minutes of your time to learn more about.

Composition

Washing Instructions - Hand wash in cool water, dry flat, iron on cool.
